“To awaken alone in a strange town is one of the pleasantest sensations in the world.”
Hotel G is an old building that has been modernised but a lot of this historic charm still remains. The attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable with nice touches such as a coffee machine and big black out curtains, the windows are large and when sun the room is well lit up.
When we first arrived we had to get into our robes and slippers after a nice hot soak in the spacious bath.
The bed was the best hotel bed I’ve slept on with an extra comfort mattress it was often hard to get out of bed. The location is great right near the Union Square area but far enough from any late night street noise.
The most reasonable priced luxury hotel San Francisco has to offer, the staff were very helpful and full of tips on what to do.
